  • Brooke is what we call a dabbler, she tries her hand at many things. Spent a decade as the brand manager for a leading NZ accessories label, occasional hair stylist, mostly marketing, all while raising two kids, and slowly transforming their coastal Auckland home into a colourful sanctuary. She is an introverted extrovert, the I'll-always-cheer-you-on type, drinks far too much coffee and will choose cake over chocolate every single time. On the quest for bright, bold and unique designs for her children’s bedrooms, she talked Artje into designing something custom…

  • Artje is a pretty clever cat. He founded a streetwear label in Berlin, while also working for fast-paced design agencies with fancy-pants high-profile clients. Artje moved to NZ with his partner and son for a (slightly) slower pace and to be closer to where the surf is. He now lends his design hand and art director hat to boutique businesses, but true to form has a few other gigs going on… What’s the term for those multi-faceted-courier types? A “slashie” In which case Artje is a designer/art director/honey enthusiast/poster-maker and the all-important partner/father/surfer. If it's worth doing, Artje is going to do it well. He would prefer a Pilsner over an IPA and if he doesn’t text back immediately - he's gone surfing.
